A: Yes! But first, let’s reframe this.

I’ve grown to really dislike the term ‘potty training’. It’s true that using a potty, and later a toilet, is something that has to be learned and that this process could be seen as a form of training, but our children are not pets that can be made to do something just for rewards – or at least, not without probable consequences. I prefer to call it potty or toilet learning.
