Every nursery has its own culture, strengths and way of doing things.
I don't arrive with a programme to deliver or a checklist to complete. Instead, I begin by listening — getting to know your team, your children and the values that matter most to you.
Together, we'll explore how thoughtful observation, respectful relationships and carefully prepared environments can support both children and the adults who care for them.
Because meaningful change doesn't happen through training alone.
It grows from within a setting — through reflection, curiosity and shared understanding.
Working alongside
The Pikler approach has shaped my work for more than twenty years, but my role is never to ask settings to become "Pikler nurseries."
Instead, I work alongside practitioners to build on the strengths that already exist, offering ideas, observations and practical support that can be adapted to your own unique context.
I believe the practitioners are the experts in their setting.
My role is to bring a fresh pair of eyes, ask thoughtful questions and create space for reflection.
The most valuable insights emerge from a simple question:
"What did you notice?"
Rooted in relationship
The work I offer is inspired by the Pikler approach, alongside many years of working with children, families and early years professionals.
Increasingly, it is also informed by my training in the Feldenkrais Method, which is deepening my understanding of movement, learning and human development throughout life.
Rather than offering quick answers, I hope to encourage thoughtful questions, careful observation and renewed confidence in the remarkable capabilities of both children and adults.
Children flourish when the adults around them flourish too. That's why my work is always as much about supporting practitioners as it is about supporting children.
